Transparent & affordable rates
Since I began freelancing, the most common question I’ve been asked is “How much will it cost” – and rightly so, the deciding factor for many projects is usually the initial quote.
The answer to this question goes back to an old saying, “How long is a piece of string?”. As cliché as it may sound, most clients have their own set of unique requirements – meaning that every job is different.
It’s easier (and simpler) to charge for my time, so I tend to work to a universal hourly rate of £40.00. Any quote provided by Wilkes Interactive is an estimate of the time required to complete the project. It’s crucial that you give as much information as possible, to receive an accurate timescale and quote.
Aside from Wilkes Interactive, I’m a full-time UI/UX designer for DJ Alexander. Due to this, I have limited availability to accommodate new projects (I’m usually only available on the evenings and weekends). Please take this into consideration before getting in touch.
I’m happy to accept payments up front and in full, or alternatively I can raise weekly, fortnightly or monthly invoices. I typically accept direct bank transfers in GDP pound sterling although if you have any questions about making payments, I would ask that you let me know before any work takes place.
Long term projects
Clients have occasionally asked if they can use my services on an ongoing basis. This could be for something as simple as monthly updates on your website. I’m more than happy to accommodate retainer based projects, if this is something you’re interested in, please get in touch and we can discuss the specifics.
